Board your international flight and begin your journey back in time to this charming, ancient land.

Day 2
Thu - Arrive Cairo
Arrival in the Land of the Pharaohs. At Cairo International airport you will be welcomed by our representative, and , then escorted to your hotel.

Day 3
Fri - Cairo
Start your day with a guided tour of the Egyptian Museum where you will find artifacts of the Pharaonic era and the treasures of King Tutankhamen’s tomb. Drive to Old Cairo, where early Judaism and Christianity flourished in Egypt. Visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue and Saint Sergius Church. After lunch, drive to the Citadel of Saladin and visit Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. Enjoy a walking tour of the largest 13th century covered oriental market, Khan El Khalili Bazaar, overnight at hotel.

Day 4
Sat - Cairo, Luxor (Optional Sound & Light Show)
After breakfast, transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor, upon arrival transfer to your luxury cruise ship for 5 days 4 nights cruise. Accommodations aboard your cruise ship will consist of outside Jr. suite cabin with private facilities. Visit The Temple of Karnak & The Temple of Luxor Visit the West Bank including Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, (Optional Sound & Light Show at the Karnak Temple), overnight in Luxor.

Sun - Luxor, Edfu
Early morning sailing to Edfu via Esna, overnight in Edfu.

Day 6
Mon - Edfu, Kom Ombo, Aswan
Travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, considered the best-preserved ancient temple in Egypt and the second largest after the Temple of Karnak. Sail to Kom Ombo, visit Temple of Sobek and Haroeries. Sail to Aswan, overnight in Aswan.

Tue – Aswan
Visit the Aswan High Dam, the Granite Quarries & Philae Temple view of Kitchener’s Island Botanical garden and the Agha Khan Mausoleum by felucca, overnight in Aswan.

Wed – Aswan (Optional Sound & Light Show)
Disembarkation, transfer to your luxury hotel in Aswan; relax and enjoy the facility of your hotel. (Optional Sound & Light Show at Philae Temple).

Day 9
Thu - Aswan, Abu Simbel, Cairo
After breakfast, transfer to Aswan airport for your flight to Abu Simbel; visit the Great Temple of Ramses II and the temple of his beloved queen, Nefertari. After visiting this magnificent site, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Cairo. Once there; your representative will assist and transfer you to your deluxe hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 10
Fri - Cairo, Alexandria, Cairo
Early breakfast, then start your over day excursion to Alexandria by air-conditioned private vehicle and accompanied by an English speaking Egyptologist. Visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shugafa and Qait Bay Fort. Stop for lunch and then proceed to the National Museum and the Alexandria Library “Bibliotheca Alexandrina”. Return to Cairo.

Day 11
Sat - Cairo
After breakfast, a scenic drive will take you to the Pyramids & Sphinx of Giza, which have stood for the last 5000 years. Complete your visit at Giza with a tour of the Solar Boat Museum. After lunch, continue to the ancient city of Memphis, the first capital of United Upper and Lower Egypt, and then visit Sakkara, site of the Step Pyramid of Zoser. (Evening, optional Sound & Light Show at the Pyramids area).
